YEAR OF DESOLATION: Rough Versions Of Five New Songs Posted Online
April 13, 2008Indiana-based thrashers YEAR OF DESOLATION have posted pre-production versions of five new tracks on MySpace. According to the band, "these songs are very very rough. Guitars and a drum machine is all they are. They are being put online because we're honestly unsure if you'll hear 'em otherwise."
YEAR OF DESOLATION previously stated about the group's new tracks, "they are all expansive on our past works. The melodies are more melodious, the thrash is more hightop, and of course the death metal is still brutal!"
During two off days in Los Angeles while on the THINE EYES BLEED tour, YEAR OF DESOLATION shot footage with director Zach Voytas for what became the video to "Suffer Thy Nemesis", a track from YEAR OF DESOLATION's self-titled Prosthetic Records debut. Watch the clip below.
YEAR OF DESOLATION's second full-length CD, "Year of Desolation", was released in January 2007.
